Fandom: Arthur
Summery: Takes place after the episode "D.W. tricks the tooth fairy". Arthur left the fake tooth behind so D.W. tries to do it again.

Chapter 1: here we go again

"I'm gonna do it again tonight," said D.W., then skipped around saying "I tricked the tooth fairy" over and over again.

"Aww," said Arthur.

D.W. kept skipping around chanting, "I tricked the tooth fairy" over and over again.

Ugh, why did I have to do that for her! Arthur thought.

"D.W.," he said.

"I tricked the tooth- what?" D.W. stopped skipping and turned back.

"You can't trick the tooth fairy twice," said Arthur.

"Yes I can," she said.

"No," he said.

"Why not?"

"Because you can't have a tooth lost one day after the other."

"Then explain the boy at my school who did it and never lies."

"Ugh, fine!"

Arthur turned to face the people watching the show. "Do you have a little sister or a little brother who annoys you so much you just want to send them up into another galaxy?"

He walked into the TV room.

"Take D.W. for example, I tried to be nice to her by making her think the tooth fairy had come, now though, I just want to flip. We're going to have to go through the whole thing again. Awww."

"I'm gonna trick the tooth fairy again," said D.W. when it was almost time for bed that night.
She put the fake tooth under her pillow, and once again Arthur went into her room and replaced the tooth with money.

This time though, he took the tooth with him instead of leaving it behind.

Chapter 2: the next day

The next day, D.W. woke up and saw that once again she had tricked the "tooth fairy".

"It did work," she said. "I told you Arthur, I told y-"

Then she looked where the tooth fairy had left the fake tooth the last time; it wasn't there.

She ran downstairs and to Arthur.

"Arthur, it worked," she said it in a very sad voice.

"Then why are you sad?" Arthur asked.

"Because this time, the tooth fairy took the fake tooth with her," D.W. cried.

"Well that's the tooth fairy's job," said Arthur. "To take the teeth."

She kept on crying.

"Ugh," said Arthur. "Okay fine D.W., it was me."

"Here," he took out the fake tooth and gave it to her. "I got the fake tooth and put some of my money under your pillow. I thought it would make you happy."

"Really?" D.W. took the fake tooth. "Well, thanks I'm glad you did it, but why did you?"

"Because I was trying to do a nice thing for you," he said. "Which was very hard."

"Well, thanks Arthur," she said. "Can I still keep the money?"

Arthur laughed. "It's all yours."

A few days later, Arthur did D.W. one last favor and bought her the Fluffy Unicorn she had wanted.

It was what had started this whole mess, so he wanted to get it for her.

It was one of the happiest moments they would ever have together.
